Battlefield 6 is all ready to launch PS5 and Xbox Series X. EA plans on utilizing the new technology offered by these next-generation platforms. This stands to be an official statement Which EA has confirmed.
In a statement directed towards IGN. a spokesperson for the Electronic Arts has commented. That DICE is continuing to support its current live titles. Which include Star Wars Battlefront 2 and 3.
However, in the longer future, the studio will be focused on the upcoming Battlefield. Which will be brought to players in 2021.
EA also communicated to Gamespot that this next entry. Which happens in the first-person shooter series will be targeting a new innovation. That will be enabled by the next generations platforms. Although, it stands unclear if the game will also be released on PS4 and XBOX One. Alongside other upcoming hardware devices.
It is understandable that the new battlefield if it was to launch in 2020. Would not have covered the console base. It would not have given justice to the potential of the title.
DICE and Battlefield
Dice has recently confirmed to the public that Battlefield’s 5 next chapters will be the last of its kind. However, they have promised to continue to support the game no matter what. Inclusive of hotfixes and balance updates thereafter.
The same will be the case for Star Wars Battlefront 2. Whose battle on Scarif update completes the studio’s vision for its sci-fi shooter. Which originally was launched to much controversy back in 2017.
We really do hope that battlefield 6 comes out soon. One question that we are still pondering upon is that what will it be called? It clearly represents a return to form for one of the FPS’s genre’s talents.
Nevertheless, whatever it may be called or what talent should it posses. All that the fans and us included are concerned about is that it should certainly do justice to not only its title but also to the company!
