Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is a smartphone game based on Level 5’s Ni no Kuni game series by Netmarble. The official youtube channel of the game released a teaser trailer on Tuesday. The teaser clip reveals the game has “two worlds.”

A teaser for the new Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds MMORPG shows that the game is full of beautiful anime-inspired scenes, expressive characters and some lovely landscapes. The teaser is available on YouTube or you can just click here.
Like the other Ni No Kuni games, this one also depicts the idea of travel between two connected worlds. However, this time, the players assume the role of VR game beta tester.
Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds Release Date
The game is set for a release at the end of 2020 on iOS and Android in Japan. The Release Date for other countries has not been announced as of now.
If there is an English version of the game to release, we will get to know about it close to the Japanese one. However, it is very early to assume when the game will be available outside of Japan.
Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds Details
The story’s lead character is a beta tester for “Project N,” a virtual reality game developed by “Ichi no Kuni’s” Mirai Company.
The world of “Project N” is named “Ni no Kuni.” The MMORPG will feature real-time gameplay for both, player vs. computer and player vs. player modes.
The game is going to have 5 character classes. The titles are as follows:
- Rogue
- Destroyer
- Witch
- Engineer
- Swordsman
Netmarble’s staff in the development department for MMORPG Lineage 2: Revolution will create the game using Unreal Engine 4.
Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds will have the original anime series’ signature animated aesthetic. The game will be having a player-based community called a “kingdom”. Kingdom will allow the players to cooperate, compete, and establish guilds. Players will also be able to collect about 100 spirits (known as Imazen) for training them.
