Wonder woman 3 is coming soon as Director Patty Jenkins has already been thinking about the movie.
The first Wonder Woman earned a decent $821.8 million in 2017, so expectations are high that the sequel will do just as well, especially with the Worlds of DC getting a boost with Aquaman’s record-breaking numbers.
Wonder Woman 3 release date
As Wonder Woman 1984 shifted from November 1, 2019 to June 5, 2020. We may have to wait a bit long for the sequel. We are not sure whether it will release or not, if yes, it may release in 2022.
There are two slots in 2021 for an “Untitled WB Event Film” and if the third movie is set for production before the sequel is out, there is a chance that one of these could go to Wonder Woman 3.
But it is not possible to tell before Warner Bros officially confirms a third movie.
Wonder Woman 3 plot
We have watched Wonder Woman in World War I and will soon see her in the 1980s, but Jenkins has informed she wouldn’t be “doing another period piece” for the 3rd movie, she’s “not set”.
we have definitely seen Wonder Woman in both Justice League and Batman v Superman, so it is expected to be seen if the third movie will renew shortly after a time jump into the near future.
To make things quite more confusing for the coming sequel, Wonder Woman 1984 currently won’t be a sequel.
Wonder Woman 3 cast
Apart from Gal Gadot as Diana Prince AKA Wonder Woman, we are not so sure of any returns, especially if the film is coming forward in time from the ’80s.
Thus, we have had some exciting news about Chris Pine’s return as Steve Trevor. He’ll come back from the dead in Wonder Woman 1984 in a way which Jenkins has teased makes “perfect sense”, but that could be that.
Apart from the guesses, nothing has been confirmed officially, so we have to wait till wonder woman 3 is confirmed officially.
