Pennyworth Season 2, American crime drama tv series Pennyworth created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. The characters are based on DC Comics, and the series premiered on 28 July 2019. Season 1 of Pennyworth has ten episodes and got good reviews from the audience. IMDb rated this series 8/10, and Rotten Tomatoes gave them a rating of 73%, which is pretty good for a series considered it is a crime drama.
The series premiered on Epix, and Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon produce it. The series is a prequel to the Batman timeline and centers around Alfred Pennyworth, which is played by Jack Bannon.
Pennyworth Season 2: Expected Plot
The first season took the viewers back in 1960 in London, where Alfred is a SAS soldier. He lives with his parents, and soon, his background of working in the military gets to him, and he is seen involved in a murder. There is also seen the involvement of the Queen of England, the CIA, and the British Government. It is a whole mess he gets himself into after leaving a line of bodies behind in his journey.
We also see Alfred meeting Bruce Wayne’s parents Thomas and Martha Kane, played by Ben Aldridge and Emma Paetz. So in season 2, we get to explore the relationship between Thomas and Martha, whereas the consequences of being involved with the queen of England can also be expected.
There is a lot to be covered before we see Pennyworth as Bruce Wayne’s butler, and season 2 might be just the beginning of it.

Pennyworth, played by Jack Bannon, Ben Aldridge, is seen as Thomas Kane, Emma Paetz as Martha Kane, Hainsley Lloyd Bennett as Bazza, Ryan Fletcher as Dave Boy, Dorothy Atkinson as Mary Pennyworth, and Polly Walker as Peggy Sykes will be seen at the season 2. Jason Flemyng as Lord James Harwood and Paloma Faith as Bet Sykes is also joining the cast for the new upcoming second season.
Pennyworth Season 2: Release Date
The second season was confirmed on 27 October 2019, and the filming was supposed to begin in early 2020, but things did not go according to the plan due to the coronavirus outbreak. The second will have ten episodes, and they were expected to release in August, but now we are hoping for the attacks to publish from October or November.
