Narcos Mexico Season 3: Cast
It is positive that Scoot McNairy will come back for his role of the DEA Agent Walt Breslin. Flavio Medina as Juan Abrego of the Gulf Cartel will also return.
Diego Luna as Felix Gallardo is pretty unlikely to happen; the character has been in the lock-up since the arrest of Camarena’s murder. Executive producer Eric Newman gave us a hint that while Chapo’s heyday is still 20 years away, he is the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel and he could be a significant factor of season 3. Therefore, the return of the actor Alejandro Edda is most likely to happen.
It is likely to a ton of fresh faces in the third season of Narcos: Mexico. Some of the characters named for the casting calls are Maria, Ismael, Dani, The General, Vicente, Arturo, Miguel, Steve, Alfonso, Hortensia, Santos and Katz. We can expect some pretty good performances by the looks of it.
Narcos Mexico Season 3: Plot
The season 2 finale ends with Felix telling Walt that by capturing him, he has cased a bigger problem. Gallardo is behind bars because of his crimes, including the murder of DEA Agent Kiki Camarena. The drug lord’s reign has come to an end. Therefore, a new drug lord will be seen taking over in the next season. It could be Amado Carrilo Fuentes, he is known for taking over control of the Juarez cartel and assassinating his boss Rafael Aguilar Guajardo.
Narcos Mexico Season 3: Release Date
In an interview with The Hollywood Reported Newman went on record about season 3 and said:
“As I always say, we’ll go on as long as they let us and as long as the drug war rages — which, as you know, there is no end in sight. But I would be lying if I said I hadn’t put quite a bit of thought into where we would go. I’ve always had a pretty fair idea where we end up. That’s about all I can say about season three. But it’s something that we’re actively discussing internally.”
Netflix has not renewed the third season yet, and with the ongoing pandemic, it is also understandable. The series has not even been shelved, so we are hoping to hear some good news soon.
