Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Another movie delayed?? Disney’s musical film due next year?? Everyone’s Talking About Jamie is a melodic initiated by Dan Gillespie Sells and illustrated by Tom MacRae. An year ago, this idea won three WhatsOnStage Awards, along with Best New Musical and got selected for five Olivier Awards.

Storyline of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie:

The story revolves around Jamie who is a bold, colorful and clever young gay. This melodic was originally motivated from the TV narrative Jamie: Drag Queen at 16. The story chases Jamie New’s character as he manages to deal with prejudice, distress and becomes brave enough to come out as a cross dresser.

It is based on the genuine story of Jamie Campbell who decides that he wants to become a cross dresser at a very young age. His mom Margaret upholds him and supports his decision. With the assistance of his splendid adoring mom and confined by his friends, Jamie conquers partiality and enters into the spotlight.

Release Date: How much is the movie delayed?

It is a sad news as the movie has been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. This pandemic situation has hampered nearly all the movies and series production and same is the case with this film as well. This movie was initially confirmed to debut in cinemas on October 23,2020 but due to health and security concerns, the movie was postponed.

On June 12, the main lead of the movie Max Harwood declared on Twitter, “Due to reasons beyond control the release has been moved to JAN 22 2021!

As of now, the movie is confirmed and set to hit the screens on January 22, 2021. Yes, currently this is the affirmative date for the release but if the situation isn’t better till then, we may get to witness more delay in the movie. All we can do is hope for the conditions to be cured early so that we get to see another amazing creation of Disney.

Cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie:

The cast of the movie comprise of-

  • Max Harwood has been appointed to play the lead role of Jamie New. He got lucky with the selection as this time it was an open call for the role. He will be accompanied by 20 locals from Sheffield.
  • Sharon Horgan as Miss Hedge
  •  Sarah Lancashire as Jamie’s mother Margaret
  • Richard E. Grant as Hugo/Loco Chanelle
  • Shobna Gulati as Ray
  • Tom MacRae and Dan Gillespie may also be seen

With melodies by lead vocalist of The Feeling, Dan Gillespie Sells, and book author Tom MacRae, this amusing, feel-better, sensation has been exciting the crowd too much.
