Viz Media declared openly on Twitter on Friday eight new title releases encompassing Buronson and Tetsuo Hara’s Fist of the North Star manga. Viz will start distributing Fist of the North Star digitally and physically in hardcover editions in the next year’s summer that is in the year 2021. The hardcover books will comprise color pages.
Viz will also start publishing and distributing the following titles in the summers of 2021:
- No. 5 manga by Taiyo Matsumoto (print/digital)
- Sensor manga by Junji Ito (print/digital)
- Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga by Hajime Kōmoto (print/digital)
- Undead Unluck manga by Yoshifumi Tozuka (print/digital)
- Yakuza Lover (Koi to Dangan) manga by Nozomi Mino (print/digital)
- Kirby Manga Mania manga collection presented by Hirokazu Hikawa
- Disney Bento: Fun Recipes for Lunchtime by Mami Miyazaki
Buronson and Hara’s Fist of the North Star manga’s story is now all set in a post-apocalyptic world. The story of this is much awaited one and it revolves around a man whose name is Kenshiro, a master and successor to a fatal martial art, as he walks the nuclear wasteland protecting the weak and naive from brutal thugs. In his travels, he must assert with other master martial artists and figures that too from his past, by including his “brother” Raoh, who has topped himself the king of the new world.
The manga operated in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1983 to 1988. Gutsoon! Entertainment and Viz have previously published part of the manga. The manga was very described and was very famous. It was loved and praised by it’s enthusiasts. That was famous not only because of its story plot but also because of the characters it had. This was the reason why it stretched long.
The latest manifestation of the manga – the DD Fist of the North Star II and Fist of the North Star: Strawberry Flavor comedy anime spinoffs – vented alongside each other back in the year 2015. Crunchyroll streamed both anime as they aired and released in Japan itself.
