Now, Netflix has renewed Love is Blind not only for a second season but for a third season as well. Netflix revealed this news on March 24, 2020.
So here’s everything we know about Love Is Blind Season 2 with all the details and the latest updates.
Love Is Blind Season 2 premiere date:
Season 1 consisted of ten episodes, and in addition to that, a reunion special was also released on Netflix and YouTube. And now fans are desperately waiting to find out which couples stayed together.
Love Is Blind Season 2 won’t be returning on Netflix until 2021. Like every other show, Love Is Blind is also affected by the coronavirus crisis, which shut down productions for many shows.
Love Is Blind Season 2 Cast:
The cast of season 2 hasn’t been revealed yet. But while announcing the second and third seasons, Netflix also revealed that Vanessa and Nick Lachey will return. They will be the hosts, guiding the contestants through their blind quests for love.
As for the contestants who’ll be a part of the second season, Coelen has told that they are looking for dynamic people who are genuinely interested in finding love. Those people should not be just doing it for the attention.
Season 1 initially comprised of a huge set of people, approximately 50 singles. These real-life singles are then narrowed down over a period of ten days, based on who were most people gravitating towards. In the end, with all the elimination, around 20-25 people were left. So the same will continue in season 2 as well.
Love Is Blind Season 2 Plot:
This reality show, hosted by Nick and Vanessa, follows single men and women who are on a journey to find out if love is really blind. First, they meet in pods, where they could only hear the other person’s voice. Those who fall in love and forge connections get engaged, while others are sent home.
At the end of this pod experiment, the engaged couples meet face-to-face and are put to different real-time tests before their wedding in the finale. If they are confident, they tie the knot, if they don’t they are left at the altar.
So the same theme will be implemented in season 2 as well. This season will be shot in Chicago.
