With NVIDIA’s specifications which calls for 1545 MHz boost clock. It is pretty evident that NVIDIA’s partners sell cards hat regularly boost way over that limit. This is all in consideration keeping in mind that the number mentioned above is NVIDIA specifications.
The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti will offer something close to double the number of CUDA. Which includes Tensor cores. While we see that nearly it is likely to quadrupling its RT cores. That should hugely lighten the performance drop. Which the users face while enabling DirectX Raytracing (DXR) in the games.
Also, how could we forget? There are the faster 16 Gbps GDDR6 VRAM and 1750 MHz boost clocks. Which do allow the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti to handle the trounce the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti.
In fact, if you observe closely. Every one of the GeForce RTX 30 Series cards in this leak packs more RT crores than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. Which apparently should reveal interesting results.
Hopefully, that will withdraw the performance delta within DXR on and DXR off. The leak also suggests at the launch dates of the GPUs. With the first cards to originate is the GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080 set to arrive in Q3 2020. which will be followed by the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti in Q4 2020 and lastly the GeForce RTX 3060 in Q1 2021.
