The first season of the very famous Japanese anime light novel series- Overlord came out in 2015 which covered the first three volumes of the novels. As of now, fourteen volumes of the series have been published. Overlord is an Isekai, dark fantasy anime based on the series of light novels written by Kugane Maruyama, illustrated by so-bin and published by Arkadia (novel series) and Enterbrain (light novel). Kugane might go on to write more volumes given the popularity of the show, however earlier he has decided to write only uptil 20 volumes. There is news about Overlord Season 4 being around the corner.
The Anime television series is directed by Naoyuki Ito and Minoru Ashina. The second season came out in 2017 and the third in 2018. What makes the story line stick out is its uniqueness and variation. The third season ended with a lot of cliffhangers which had the ending theme of “Silent Solitude”

Satoshi Hino will be giving voice to the main character Momonga, Yumi Hara to Albedo, Sumire Uesaka to Shalltear Bloodfallen, Manami Numakura to Narberal and Masayuki Katou to Demiurge respectively on the show. Some new characters are also anticipated to join in.
Keeping in par with the events as stated in the novel we can see Ainz facing several new challenges in his path. The plot will take over from the instance where Ainz has developed his own country which goes by the name Sorcerer Kingdom. The biggest threat that Ainz will have to deal with in the fourth season is himself, because now he is expected to verify his capacity to his allies, rulers and components. The Overlord will understand that having immense power and managing effectively are two different things. More apt and proper knowledge of law making and administration is required to rule a kingdom.
