The internet can sometimes prove to be a great place for helping the underprivileged. When something like that happens, it makes everyone feel great about themselves. Plus, it helps to lend a hand in a crisis wherein a particular portion of the crowd is affected the most.
The Coronavirus pandemic has seen efforts being poured from all corners of the world to help the affected. In this piece, we are going to talk about the latest charitable effort by a young Youtuber to help in the pandemic.
Who is MrBeast?
His name is Jimmy Donaldson but he goes by his Youtube handle MrBeast. He is known for organising various charitable events. One of the most helpful that caught my eye was the Team Trees initiative to plant 20 million trees. He also has a large youtube audience at this disposal of about 34 million. Hence, it is good to see people using their influence in order to do something nice for their fellow man.
His Next challenge
Now for his next challenge, MrBeast is collaborating with Youtube originals and biggest influencers to raise money for the pandemic. In this tournament, the influencers will play a rock, paper, scissors tournaments to raise relief for the pandemic.
It seems the tournament will host a number of massive names from all different corners of the platform, including the likes of David Dobrik, Tana Mongeau, Jeffree Star, KSI, MatPat, Ninja, Pokimane, Tfue, and Casey Neistat. A number of these high profile YouTubers have tweeted out their excitement for the competition too, with several major names on the list already engaging in pre-game trash talk.
These influencers have also been writing about how they will be taking over each other. Hence, there is a lot of news going around. The people around the world have welcomed this move by the young Youtuber. Therefore, this has been regarded as one of the best ideas for a fundraiser. It also gives us a message of giving back to the community. So, lastly, I would also like to request our readers to be charitable and contribute towards eradicating the ills of this pandemic.
